It is a pumice base, volcanic ash, and it contains a mild soap and a skin conditioner. Keith's Hand Cleaner contains no harsh chemicals or detergents that can cause problems with dryness and cracking. Pumice is a great abrasive. It does not readily dissolve in water and therefore a small amount of Keith's Hand Cleaner will do a great job cleaning your hands. We use a mild soap and a natural skin conditioner that will leave your hands healthy, clean, and feeling almost as soft as if you put lotion on them. Keith's Hand Cleaner will work better than a scrubbing brush to remove printer's ink, paint, grease, grime, diesel oil, permatex, urethane, fiberglass, etc. Whether you work on transmissions, radiators, engines, brakes, mufflers, or tires, Keith's Hand Cleaner is perfect for cleaner, healthier hands. DIRECTIONS: To use Keith's Hand Cleaner most effectively always wet hands first - the wetter the better. Then sprinkle a little Keith's Hand Cleaner on both hands - just a single layer of powder on both hands - maybe as if you would salt a good steak. Then scrub your hands together. The first time over it is a little rough and tough and gritty. Because we do not use a fast- sudsing detergent or any chemicals, it kind of works like shampoo. If you rinse and repeat you will get a good lather the second time. Any place on your hands where you have cracks or stains that are difficult to clean, just put a little extra dry hand cleaner in those areas and rub like crazy. CAUTION: May cause eye irritation.
